Elli Caunitis is a driven and eager theatre student at Montclair State University, pursuing a BA in Theatre Studies with a concentration in Stage Management. In her final semester, Elli is set to graduate in spring 2026. Upon graduation, she will join the Santa Fe Opera’s 2026 cohort of technical apprentices in production and music services. At Montclair State, Elli currently serves as the production stage manager for PASSAGE, directed by Debbie Saivetz, and will also be a teaching assistant for Intro to Stage Management. Previously, she worked with Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina, as a production assistant and stage manager.

Elli plans to further her education with graduate studies in Theatrical Management, seeking to hone her skills and expand her career opportunities. Elli is specifically interested in opera, special events, touring, plays, and concert stage management. Outside of the theatre, she enjoys making coffee and working on creative craft projects. Fun fact: Elli is a triplet and, before transitioning to management, spent 13 years dancing competitively.
