Elli Caunitis is a passionate multidisciplinary theatre student at Montclair State University, pursuing a BA in Theatre Studies focusing on Stage Management. She has just wrapped up her apprenticeship with the Spoleto Festival USA as a Production Assistant. Elli had the opportunity to work with several talented artists, including Corinne Bailey Rae, Aja Monet, Red Baraat, Valerie June, M.J. Lenderman, and Patterson Hood. She also worked on the world premiere of Manual Cinema's production of "4th Witch" and the American premiere of the TYA play "Polar Bear and Penguin." Currently, Elli is preparing for her next show as the ASM for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, which is scheduled to open in November. This is Elli's favorite show and the perfect way to start Senior year!
Additionally, in the Spring, Elli will act as Production Stage Manager for the play Passage at Montclair State University. Elli is eager to further her education with graduate studies in Theatrical Management to enhance her skills and open up even more career opportunities! In her limited free time, she enjoys making coffee and working on creative craft projects. Fun fact: Elli is a triplet and, before switching to management, danced competitively with The PassMORE Dance Co for 13 years!
